I spoke to Adobe Senior Computer Scientist Sean Parent, I’d imagine, around February or March 2002. Photoshop 6 had not long been out, if my memory serves me well, and it seemed a good idea to speak to one of the team. I think I was looking more for a Thomas Knoll, but Sean Parent was cool. He’d done a lot of work with new scripting capabilities and had a fair bit of insight into the product, including the strange muddle that was Photoshop and ImageReady. He was very pleasant on the phone, too.
Anyway, I shan’t ramble too much. I scanned the article from a back issue. Hope you can read it, and enjoy it.
